Client brief: Our busy Mum and Dad clients were looking to expand on their property portfolio and invest in an apartment to hand down to their children.
Overview of the purchase: After encountering some stiff competition on two previous properties, an off-market Art Deco apartment was sourced for our clients. This property ticked all the boxes with aspect, location, style, size and price.
Due to a great relationship with the selling agent, the property was purchased off market for our client with no competition from other buyers. The property was secured below the asking price and to cement what a great buy it was, two days later another apartment in the same block sold at Auction for over 17% more. This apartment was smaller internally and had an inferior aspect and outlook. Our clients were very excited and felt reassured they had already made capital gain.
To further assist our client, we arranged trades and quotes from builders for a full renovation which our client has proceeded with.
