There have been changes to the Residential Tenancy ACT (2010) that you should be aware of. The new laws apply to all NSW residential tenancies as of 31 January 2011. Where an existing lease is in place with a tenant, there is no need to replace the lease with a new one however, if there are any terms in your current lease that conflicts with the new laws, then the new laws will apply. |
